@Lukzys ye i am 16 too and i was like 120 before summer then i started to eat alot and now i am stuck at 140- 144 and i feel like i am getting stronger but my weight doesn’t go up
i’ve been lifting weights for quite some time around 4 years and a half and of course i gained alot of muscle in the first 2 years but after that i’ve been getting stronger and stronger lifting bigger and bigger weights but i haven’t changed substantially sure there are little differences here and there and i can notice my body changing but it’s not as fast as in the first 2 years of training.
i hate when ppl say it hard to gain muscle. it bullshit
Hi, i’m 16 years old, 1.80m i weigh 59kg. I’ve been lifting weights for 3months. I gained a lot of strength, but i only gained 1kg and almost no muscles. What should i eat or do to build more muscle mass? (Sorry if my english is bad)
@kingjumb explain this to me then… i see guys walk around with huge upper bodies and do crappy leg workouts. so if they train very muscle in their upper body and get everything huge why dont their legs grow? the back and chest and huge muscles together like the thighs. so why when i squat hard would my upper body grow if when i train upper body hard my lower body doesnt grow?
why take advise from a guy that looks like he couldnt bench 200 to save his life??? u wanna get jacked, go take advice from people that look jacked. some do it naturaly some dont. its pretty easy to tell natural from non natural. just get advise from people that look like they know how to work out.
Keep all your concentration to your lifting technic.
The way of bulding muscles is to simply tear
your muscle cells apart and restore with rest/food.
If you push yourself to increase weights like that
every week continiously you will very soon loose
the correct lifting technic for tearing down properly.
You have to learn how to work your muscles
individually, nearly without involving others at all,
for every exercise, if you dont… you’re just training
yourself the athletic way. CONCENTRATE
you can’t build new muscle… there is only limited number of muscle fibers

@Tomskicat 5 pounds is about 2 kg’s. 2 kg’s a week for a few months is 24kg’s. thats definitely doable over 3(a few) months. give it a shot, you may surprise yourself!

Its not about curling.. squat heavy and that will porbs build more muscle to your upper body then doing loads of curls.

@pascalxus Makes more sense than what Vince is talking about.
It doesn’t make too much sense because the max I curl is 30lbs dumbbells is 6-8 reps on three sets. I don’t believe it’s about lifting heavier, because some people aren’t strong enough as others. I believe you have to do it right with the 2 second rule when lifting ( up a second, squeeze, down another second).
Adding 5 pounds to your weights every week seems a little but much to me.
That means if you start lifting 50kg weights, then you’d be doing nearly 200kg a few months later. Seems a but ridiculous to me

Vince your stamina sucks. I would like to see you do fifteen Pull ups. No excuses. I dont know how you are getting that size. But lets see you do fifteen pull ups. All the other trainers you associate yourself with can do it or they look like they can do it (Craig, Arnel,) You look like a bloated body builder. do some body weight exercises so you look like some fit person.
